About our cause
Poole Waste Not Want Not is a lifeline to so many, campaigning to raise awareness of food insecurity and practically seeking to improve the lives of families and individuals so no one goes hungry.
A social supermarket (PWNWN)
Providing access to affordable food PWNWN has now designed a coffee shop area within the shop to develop other services such as menu planning on a budget, money budget advice, training opportunities, and encouraging social groups to reduce loneliness in a non-judgemental environment.
We complement other services such as food banks in our area, meeting needs at a different point – no other food bank sells discounted food on a regular basis to support low-income families with the opportunity to improve personal skills – While food banks support the crisis, we are looking to support the long journey in money management with positive outcomes
Offering volunteering opportunities and training can help with increasing confidence, self-esteem, and skills, assisting in an improvement in their health, well-being, life, and working circumstances.
We need your help
So that we can continue to offer and even expand our service!
Due to the cost of living crisis, the demand for our service has grown, and this has a detrimental effect on our finances, we need your support to keep shelves stocked full of daily essentials, basics,; fresh fruits, vegetables, meats chilled items and hygiene products
asking if you would be able to support our charity in any way to help make this happen.
PWNWN needs to raise funds To ensure our members enjoy fresh food many people struggle to put a hot meal on the table to feed their family, and the added pressure of rising energy costs is very stressful- we are here to support our members by providing a goodie box and make sure every child is fed
Our goal is to reach as many people as we can - No one should go hungry - let us get their voices heard!
Thank you so much for your support and good luck!
Poverty isn't inevitable, with the right support everyone can have the opportunity to do well in life and enjoy a fairer society!
